If a guy has a pattern of habitually cheating on every woman he has ever been with for 20 years do you believe they can change that pattern without therapy or counseling? -- Mary

Mary, he has 20 years of experience being a cheat which is a long time for any behavior. I doubt he could change without the assistance of a professional therapist or counselor, assuming he seriously did want to change and wasn't just telling you what you want to hear. Just my opinion, of course. -- Queenie
